A Brevard County jury awarded our client a settlement of $840,000 Settlement in Auto Accident Case that left our client with sustained severe neck, shoulder, hip and knee injuries, leaving her in constant pain. She required a two level cervical diskectomy and fusion surgery for disc herniations and will require on-going physical therapy and future surgery for a torn ACL on her knee.

08/04/2010 - Brevard Codunty Jury Awards Victim $935,000 Settlement in Auto Accident Case
A Brevard County jury awarded our client a settlement of $935,000 for an auto accident that left our client with serious injuries, neck fusion surgery and disk replacement utilizing a prestige disk replacement prosthesis.

02/05/2010 - Jury Awards Victim of Serious Rear-end Collision $2,052,434.14 Million
Brevard County, FL - On Friday, February 5, 2010, a Brevard County jury awarded an Indialantic woman a $2,052,434.14 million verdict for an auto accident that left her with serious injuries and neck fusion surgery.

10/01/2009 - Florida to Consider Banning Dangerous Practice of Texting While Driving
Florida lawmakers will readdress a state-wide ban on text messaging while driving in the upcoming legislative session and could become the next state to outlaw this dangerous practice. To date, 17 states have outlawed texting while driving, and six have banned talking on a handheld cell phone.

Brevard County, FL – On Monday afternoon a Brevard County jury awarded Palm Bay resident John Franck more than $600,000 in damages for injuries he has been suffering from since an auto accident with an uninsured motorist on May 17, 2006.

02/16/2009 - Vero Beach Mother of 4 Awarded $986,000 for Damages & Injuries Sustained in Auto Accident
Indian River County, Florida - On Friday an Indian River County jury awarded a Vero Beach mother a verdict of just under $1 million for an auto accident that left her battling severe neck and back pain on a daily basis and requiring a number of surgeries to ease her suffering.

01/16/2009 - Jury Awards Brevard County Woman $4.65M in Uninsured Motorist Case Against State Farm Insurance Company
Brevard County, Florida – A Brevard County jury on Thursday awarded a local Palm Bay woman $4.65 million for a 2006 auto accident that left her with injuries to her neck and back, as well as a devastating condition rendering her completely unable to use her left hand and arm.

George Andrews was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 1 near the intersectin of Rockledge Square in Rockledge, FL, not knowing that in a matter of minutes, his life would change for the worse. While taking his daughter to elementary school like George did most mornings, motorist Sandra McPartland who was at the same intersection made a left turn, violating Mr. Andrew's right of way and stricking his vehicle.

02/03/2009 - Accident with Uninsured Motorist Results in Insurance Bad Faith Case
Indian River County, FL – July 8, 2004 began as usual for Raul Arroyave, but his morning commute was interrupted when Tiffany Dewees ran a stop sign and collided with the driver’s side of his vehicle, resulting in Arroyave sustaining severe and permanent injuries. To make matters worse, Dewees was not adequately insured.

On Sunday, November 10, 2002, 45-year-old Donnie Dowling and his wife Mary were returning from the Fort Pierce Air Show on their motorcycle with four other motorcyclists on U.S. Highway 1 near the intersection of Chamberlin Boulevard in Fort Pierce, when they were involved in a serious accident with an uninsured/underinsured motorist.

O. John Alpizar and David Alpizar of Alpizar Law, a personal injury and wrongful death law firm, and the City of Palm Bay Parks & Recreation presented the first showing of the summer long “Movies in the Park” program. This month’s feature film, “The Spy Next Door,” started at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2010 at Liberty Park in Palm Bay, FL. An estimated 200-300 people where in attendance, with blankets and lawn chairs, for the premier of “Movies in the Park”.
