We are proud to share that Attorney
Andrew Pickett was recently featured in
Florida Today. Each week, the publication speaks with a young professional in Brevard
County and was delighted to learn more about Andrew and what motivates
him in his profession.
Andrew Pickett is 32 years old and earned his Juris Doctorate from the
University of Florida in 2008. Prior to joining Alpizar Law, LLC, he served
as a prosecutor at the State Attorney's Office in the 18th Circuit in Brevard County. While there, he handled thousands of cases,
including both simple misdemeanors and complex felonies.
Andrew has achieved numerous accomplishments since earning his law degree.
He served as president of the Brevard County Bar Association's "Young
Lawyers" division from 2012 to 2013 and won the "Pride in Excellence:
Attorney of the Year" award from the State Attorney's office in 2011.
Excelling in His Field with a Love for Debate
When asked by Florida Today why he chose his career, Andrew said, "I
have always enjoyed debating and understanding complicated issues. I have
the opportunity to do that every day as an attorney." He focuses
the majority of his practice on personal injury, using his skill to obtain
high settlements on behalf of his clients.
The best business advice he's ever received is to find a mentor at
the beginning of your career. According to Andrew, doing so helps you
follow through and stay consistent with all short and long-term goals.
Andrew enjoys playing tennis and going to the beach in his free time. He
also loves spending time with his family, including his parents, two brothers,
and his sister. You can learn more about Andrew and the rest of our team
